Der Beitrag berichtet unter anderem Vorschläge von Professorinnen und Professoren sowie Forschungsgruppenleiterinnen und -leitern zu der Frage, wie Universitäten Innovationen in Forschung und Lehre mehr unterstützen könnten. Sie wurden im Rahmen einer deutschlandweiten Befragung des IHFs (Projekt „Arbeitsklima und -kultur in Hochschulen und Wissenschaft“) unter Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern in den Bereichen MINT und Wirtschaftswissenschaften an Universitäten im Winter 2020/2021 erhoben.
